Where is the light?… It's in my skin and in my bones
In my heart and in my soul
That light of life, so bright and golden
Like a summer day
When the sun goes missing in the sky
It is rising in my eyes
Chasing all that winter gloom away… The light’s inside of me.

*Gathering Hymn When Our Heart Is In A Holy Place Joyce Poley
When our heart is in a holy place, x2
We are blessed with love and amazing grace,
When our heart is in a holy place.
When we trust the wisdom of each of us,
Every color, every creed and kind,
And we feel the power of each other’s faith,
Then our heart is in a holy place.
When our heart is in a holy place, x2
We are blessed with love and amazing grace,
When our heart is in a holy place.

*Covenant Love is the doctrine of this church.
The quest for truth is its sacrament,
And service is its prayer.
To dwell together in peace,
To seek knowledge in freedom,
To serve humankind in fellowship,
Thus do we covenant with each other.
*Hymn of Praise From all that dwell below the skies

Let peace, goodwill on earth be sung

Autumn cold has turned the starwheel, winter is upon us. x2
Grey the windy storms, cold upon our cheeks the wet rain glistens, glistens.
Autumn cold has turned the starwheel, winter is upon us.
Leaping is the fire, golden in the glass the cider glows like amber.
Autumn cold has turned the starwheel, winter is upon us.

Sung Response Dark of Winter Shelley Jackson Denham
Dark of winter, soft and still, your quiet calm surrounds me.
Let my thoughts go where they will; ease my mind profoundly.
And then my soul will sing a song, a blessed song of love eternal.
Gentle darkness, soft and still, bring your quiet to me.
Darkness, soothe my weary eyes, that I may see more clearly.
When my heart with sorrow cries, comfort and caress me.
And then my soul may hear a voice, a still, small voice of love eternal.
Darkness, when my fears arise, let your peace flow through me.
