High School/YRUU

Young Religious Unitarian Universalists (YRUU)
For 9th-12th grades

Meets during the 9:00 & 11:00 services on alternating Sundays. Meets under the permanent shade structure behind the cottage when meeting at 9:00; meets inthe Northeast room of the cottage when meeting at 11:00.

“Young Religious Unitarian Universalists (YRUU)” empowers teens, with the guidance of adult advisors, to create their own vision and mission for their program. YRUU youth will explore what it means to be young and UU, how our UU principles inform how we live our lives, and what power young UU’s have to change the world. YRUU also takes part in social justice projects, organizes social gatherings, and will plan and lead a Sun-day worship service for the congregation.

For more information, please see our letter and calendar for YRUU parents.

Youth Activities

For Coming of Age and YRUU youth

Monthly; meeting dates and locations vary.

Each month, the YAC plans a social event for our COA and YRUU youth, to provide fun events and bonding between the youth of our church. Including 8th graders in the outings facilitates their transition into the senior high youth group at the end of the year. Past events have included a beach cookout, bowling, overnights, amusement park trips, rock climbing, laser tag, and more!
