This month, our Generous Congregation offering will go to the Venice Family Clinic. The Clinic’s mission is to provide free, quality health care to people in need. Since its founding in 1970, it has grown from a small storefront operation into the largest free clinic in the country, with eight sites in Venice, Santa Monica, Mar Vista, and Culver City, serving more than 24,400 men, women, children, teens, and seniors annually. Ninety-seven percent are low-income and nearly three-quarters are uninsured.

This week, our Generous Congregation offering will go to CLUE-LA, Clergy and Laity United for Economic Justice. CLUE LA, founded in 1996, is one of the oldest interfaith worker justice organizations in the country. Their mission is to bring together clergy and lay leaders of all faiths to join low-wage workers in their struggles for justice.
