We’ll be serving grilled hot dogs (vegan & meat), salads, desserts, and lemonade.

 

Donations will be welcome but, technically, it’s free!

 

Proceeds from the picnic will be given to two UU Santa Monica families who are facing severe medical challenges. Taylor Shaw, Kit Shaw’s daughter and a student at MIT, suffered a cardiac arrest and has been in extensive rehabilitation. The costs of some of Taylor’s care, including an air ambulance from Boston to Denver for specialized treatment, are not covered by insurance. The second family is Emily Linnemeier, Jamie Duckman, and their two young children, Charley and Eala. Jamie remains hospitalized after suffering two strokes and being operated on for an aneurysm. We send our best wishes to both families.
