The band “Signals” was formed in the fall of 2009 by pianist Bryan McAllister, inspired by contemporary jazz pioneers such as The Bad Plus, E.S.T, and Kneebody. This young LA-based jazz quartet explores new territory through deeply meditative compositions and a wide use of textures and sounds.
