Help Spread Awareness of the Area Car Wash Boycotts! Sat, Nov 1, 10am-12pm. Courtyard Shade Structure. The Peace and Social Justice Committee invite you to pass out flyers concerning the practices of both the Millennium and Santa Monica Car Wash businesses. Both of these businesses are involved in lawsuits in which workers allege they have been denied fair wages and rest breaks. Workers who have spoken up have been intimidated and/or fired.

Please join us at 10am to break into neighborhood groups that will distribute flyers on cars in the neighborhood. We will meet back at UU Santa Monica at noon for Lunch. Contact: Rick Rhoads, fia@uusm.org.
