2nd Sunday Cinema -- Faith in Action presents: "Occuply 101" Sunday, Dec. 14th at 7:30PM following 2nd Sunday Supper

Although made in 2006 before the most recent tragic events in Gaza, this documentary "presents a comprehensive analysis of the facts and hidden truths surrounding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and dispels many of its long-perceived myths and misconceptions. The film also details life under Israeli military rule, the role of the United States in the conflict, and the major obstacles that stand in the way of a lasting and viable peace." It features scholars, activists, journalists, religious leaders and humanitarian workers whose voices are usually not heard in mainstream media outlets. A group viewed portions of the film with guest speakers on Wednesday night; here we'll watch it in its entirety. Runtime: 90 min.
