Community Life Belonging to a community is good for us in many ways. The benefits of community, however, are more than we realize. Commuity gives us life. We will welcome at both services the new members who have joined our church this year. The Annual Meeting takes place at 1230 today. |

Community Not a Neat Street We are encouraged by the world's religious traditions to live out our lives in community — and yet it is sometimes hard to reconcile group vision and individual vision. Living authentically doesn't require isolation, nor does living in a community mean we have to give up our individuality. This service honors the complexity of our individual and shared dreams, and explores covenant groups as a way in which our lives may become a fuller expression of our dreams. Community Vigil to Remember All Victims of Gun Violence
A community vigil for all victims of gun violence will be held on Sunday, Dec. 13th at 5pm in front of St. Monica’s Church at 725 California Ave., Santa Monica. This vigil is one of hundreds throughout the country that will take place during the weekend. We will light our candles to remember all victims of gun violence and recommit to preventing the epidemic of gun violence and its devastating impacts on individuals, families and communities.
