Garden of Eternity Service
Our annual Garden of Eternity Service honors members, loved ones, and friends who joined the ancestors during the past church year. New memorial bricks will be blessed and we will have an opportunity to remember and memorialize our loved ones in this special service.

Garden Party Dear Green Living Folks and UUSM Volunteers, November 19 from 1-3pm we will be having a UUSM Garden Spruce Up session to clean up before our first Thanksgiving Dinner Al Fresco the following day. I'm hoping that many of our Green Living and Facilities folks and other folks will show up to help give our church grounds a good clean up. I'm including Liz Camp to this email, as our Master Gardener and member of the Youth RE Gardening Team. Please let me know via email if you are able to come so we can plan materials and tools accordingly. Wear hat and grubbies and bring tools if you have them, marked so you can collect them later. Some of the garden + grounds projects suggested by Beth Brownlie and Liz Camp include: -Protecting our soils: Mulching: we need a free delivery of wood mulch. Deliver to the alley and then disperse. Gravel mulching in select areas: Identify those areas and add. -Trimming: The lavender and rosemary need their fall trimming. Reed by the Corner Sign needs a trim so we can see the sign. -Furniture: Teak Table: We had to say goodbye to the lovely teak table. Everyone, keep your eyes out for a new 42 X 60 Teak Table on craiglist or buy nothing. Dusting/Cleaning: The shade structure and its lighting needs cleaning and dusting. Shade Structure: Think about replacing this in 6 mos. |

Gathered and Sent flower festival The flower festival is a ritual that many Unitarian Universalist congregations celebrate. Flowers are brought from home and then gathered into large bouquets to be distributed to each person at the service. Please bring a cut flower from home to the service. |

Gathering Tonight Our hearts are with all those affected by violence - in Boston and around the world, today and everyday. The Sanctuary will be open tonight (Tuesday) from 6:30-8:30pm for those who wish to gather and be with one another in the wake of yesterday's senseless attacks. Please join your minister and the Committee on Ministry if you are able. |
