Second Sunday Supper
Second Sunday Suppers are informal social events for all ages held in Forbes Hall on the second Sunday of each month at 6:00 p.m. Initial set up time is followed by communal meal. Attendees should bring a main dish, side dish, salad or dessert to share. Please join us! Children are absolutely welcome! To save on waste and promote green living, we kindly ask that you bring your own plates, cups, utensils, and cloth napkins. We will have extra dishes if you cannot bring your own.
Happy hour begins at 5:45 pm.
You can also help by joining our Kitchen Cabinet and help with cooking (the day before), setup, or cleanup. You know that the most fun at any party is in the kitchen! Sign up at tinyurl.com/kitchenministry.

Join them and all of us for a potluck gathering beginning at 6 in Forbes Hall. Bring food and drink if you are able.

event beginning at 7:30, welcoming performing artists to an open mic evening. Join us for cuisine and comraderie.

Faith in Action
Join member and friends this first weekend of June for the Art Wall Opening Reception, featuring UUSM’s Faith In Action Committee (FIA). The reception will be held on Sunday, June 2, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Forbes Hall.
Faith In Action is an active committee of UUSM and currently acts as an umbrella for other church committees, including the Peace and Social Justice group.
Over the past year, FIA has hosted many important events focusing on peace in the Middle East, the economy and labor rights with emphasis on hotel workers, racism and police brutality, and immigration and immigrant detention.
Recently, FIA hosted more than 40 energetic, committed young people in their late teens and twenties filled the Sanctuary and campus on last month to organize for climate justice.
What’s next for Faith In Action? Come to the Art Wall reception on Sunday and find out, because sometimes, word of mouth still works.

Empty Bowls
Empty Bowls will be available for purchase. These are bowls left from the Empty Bowll events a few year ago. Proceeds will go to Westside Food Bank to help alleviate hunger in our area. Come pick your favorites and help support Westside Food Bank.
