Parents' Group Vision Meeting Are you interested in exploring a parenting group at UUCCSM? We are envisioning a group similar to the UUSM Young Adults group or the Men’s group, possibly meeting once a month on a weeknight for two hours to discuss the joys and challenges you and other parents face in a group setting. Join Chris Brown and others for an initial planning meeting to gauge interests and needs of parents from 11:30-12:30 on Nov. 10 in the Cottage SE. For more information, email Chris using AdultRE@UUSM.org or find him during fellowship after the service.

Parking General parking is on the street, but we prefer that for Sunday services (and occasional specially-authorized Church events), our members and visitors park at the UCLA Hospital parking structure at 16th & Arizona. You can download and print either a General (Non-Sunday) Pass or a Sunday Pass. Please note: the general (non-Sunday) parking pass can be used only for events when special parking arrangements have been made by the Church. Sunday entry is allowed from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (you may stay as long as you like; no attendant is necessary for exit). Passes also are available at the Visitor's Information table in the courtyard and the Membership Center in Forbes Hall. To free up parking spaces near the church for visitors and members who have difficulty walking, please use your pass on Sunday. (We try very hard to be good neighbors to the residents who live near us, and parking is an important part of that effort. Please see our "Good Neighbor Parking Impact Reduction Plan" for more information.) |
Participation in Church Governance Activities Approved by the Board of Directors 11-11-97; Church activities generally are open to Church members and non-members alike. However, activities relating to Church governance are limited to Church members. This includes congregational business meetings, meetings of the Board and its subcommittees, and meetings of the Nominating, Finance, Personnel and Stewardship Committees. Non-members may attend congregational business meetings as observers, but may not vote and may participate in the discussions only with specific approval of the presiding officer. |

Passover Seder
Come celebrate Passover with a Seder on Saturday, April 20 at 5 pm in Forbes Hall.
A special intern Rabbi will lead the service, which will include a reading of the Haggadah. Traditional Passover food and wine will be served. A donation of $15 per person or $30 per family is requested. Please also bring a side dish, such as a vegetable, salad, or dessert (macaroons, honey cake) to share. No one will be turned away for their inability to pay.
Attendance is limited to 40 people to preserve an intimate family setting.
If you are interested in volunteering to help with organizing, set-up and clean-up for the event, please contact Resa Foreman or Teri Lucas by email.
Sign up to attend this event at the RE table in Forbes Hall, or by e-mail to Resa Foreman or Teri Lucas.
