“However sweet these laid-up stores - however convenient this dwelling,
we cannot remain here; however sheltered this port, and however calm these waters,
we must not anchor here.”
- Walt Whitman
*Gathering Hymn Morning Has Come Jason Shelton
Morning has come, arise and greet the day!
Dance with joy and sing a song of gladness!
The light of hope here chines upon each face.
May it bring faith to guide our journey home.
A new day dawns, once more the gift is giv’n.
Wonder fills this moment shared together.
The light of peace here shines upon each face.
May it bring faith to guide our journey home.

*Opening Hymn #128 For All That Is Our Life
*Covenant Love is the doctrine of this church.
The quest for truth is its sacrament,
And service is its prayer.
To dwell together in peace,
To seek knowledge in freedom,
To serve humankind in fellowship,
Thus do we covenant with each other.
*Hymn of Praise From all that dwell below the skies
Let songs of hope and faith arise
Let peace, goodwill on earth be sung
Through every land, by every tongue.

Sung Response Come, My Way, My Truth, My Life Ralph Vaughan Williams
Come, my way, my truth, my life: such a way as gives us breath,
Such a truth as ends all strife, such a life as killeth death.
Come, my joy, my love, my heart: such a joy as none can move,
Such a love as none can part, such a heart as joys in love.

Today, 60% of our offering will go to Our House Grief Support Center . Grief is a natural reaction
after the death of someone close. Yet in our society few people are prepared for the intensity and
duration of the grief process. Our House was founded on the premise that grievers need
understanding, support, and connection. If you or someone you care about is grieving, we are here to
help. For support: 1.888.417.1444. http:// www.ourhouse-grief.org.
