*Covenant Love is the doctrine of this church.
The quest for truth is its sacrament,
And service is its prayer.
To dwell together in peace,
To seek knowledge in freedom,
To serve humankind in fellowship,
Thus do we covenant with each other.
*Hymn of Praise From all that dwell below the skies

Service Notes
Today, 40% of our offering will go to to The Equal Justice Initiative. Despite the motto of ‘and
justice for all…’ people of color face have very different experiences with the law enforcement,
judicial and economic systems in place in our country. As a people, we’ve done little to
acknowledge the impact of generations of slavery, lynching, and racial segregation. The Equal
Justice Initiative seeks ways to restore humanity in the face of prejudicial inequality. Please give
generously. Thank you!
