Covenant

Love is the doctrine of this church.

The quest of truth is its sacrament,

And service is its prayer.

To dwell together in peace;

To seek knowledge in freedom;

To serve humankind in fellowship;

Thus do we covenant with each other.

Hymn of Praise

From all that dwell below the skies

Let songs of hope and faith arise

Let peace, good will on earth be sung

Through every land, by every tongue.           ~ based on Isaac Watts

Service Notes

This month, our Generous Congregation offering will go to the Venice Family Clinic. The Clinic’s mission is to provide free, quality health care to people in need. Since its founding in 1970, it has grown from a small storefront operation into the largest free clinic in the country, with eight sites in Venice, Santa Monica, Mar Vista, and Culver City, serving more than 24,400 men, women, children, teens, and seniors annually. Ninety-seven percent are low-income and nearly three-quarters are uninsured.
